Hi, I’m Nicole.

Never in a million years would I have dreamed stamping a few necklaces at my coffee table in my living room almost ten years ago would turn into this. I still remember purchasing my first set of jewelry stamps, nickel blanks, jump rings and jewelry chain. I brought them home, grabbed my hammer out of my little toolbox and dove right in. Trial and error is an understatement as to what happened in my living room that evening.

After finally getting the hang of the process, I purchased a couple more alphabet set stamps and decided to upgrade from my nickel and mixed metals to high qualify 14kt filled gold pieces. Want to see something funny? You should see the pictures of my “masterpieces” I first created – whew, we all have to start somewhere.

Quickly the requests began coming in from friends and family members for custom orders for gifts, etc. I decided to eventually create an Etsy shop to offer some sort of platform for my hobby. Little did I know that would be such a gateway for my hobby to evolve into my small business. Still to this day, Etsy allows me to get my shop in front of people all over the world!

I started to crave more. One day I stumbled across an advertisement for The Broken Oak Barn Sale. Everything about it caught my attention: the aesthetic, the atmosphere, handmade vendors, live music, food, etc. I saw where they were accepting vendor applications and my wheels starting turning. How cool would it be if I stamped jewelry on-the-spot for people so they could take their pieces home with them that day? I reached out to Alyssa, the sweetest gal behind the operation, and completed my vendor application.

Turns out being accepted into that market would be such a life changing moment for me. I remember the morning of the sale, my best friend Leann and I sat up anxious and nervous not knowing what to expect! When those gates opened, let me tell you, we felt the LOVE! I stamped my little heart out ALL DAY LONG. My heart was so full meeting so many wonderful other crafters of handmade items, grateful customers and what is now my “Broken Oak” family. Alyssa has been such a mentor and asset to my life.

I began applying for other vendor shows, stamping on spot and growing my brand. And now I’m here, getting to live out my dream.

I am so grateful to be where I am today, sharing my passion with each of you.

Cheers, Nicole
